Vikram Bhatt on his past relationships with Sushmita Sen and Ameesha Patel: 'Everything that has happened...'
Raaz and 1920 director Vikram Bhatt recently got candid about his past relationships with Sushmita Sen and Ameesha Patel while speaking to Siddharth Kanan in an interview. The filmmaker opened up on the pain that he went through during that time and when the relationships added.
“That pain itself has taught me a lot. Today where I am, it is because of that pain. I think my spiritual journey wouldn’t have been the same had I not gone through those events. I believe that we all choose our lessons before we are born and I think I chose these. I say this with all honesty that you have to own every part of your life,” said Vikram Bhatt.

Vikram Bhatt on Ameesha Patel’s failed projects
As per reports, Vikram Bhatt opened up about how both struggled professionally at the time they were together. While he directed one flop after another, Ameesha’s films also did poorly at the time.
It was after they both broke off that Bhatt’s film 1920, starring Adah Sharma became a huge hit. It was followed by movies like Shaapit and Haunted while Ameesha Patel struggled. “I have seen her struggle,” he noted.
On his spiritual journey
Today where I am, it is because of that pain. I think my spiritual journey wouldn’t have been the same had I not gone through those events. I believe that we all choose our lessons before we are born and I think I chose these. I say this with all honesty that you have to own every part of your life. Everything that has happened is my decision, I let it happen. Nothing that has happened in my life has happened without my permission.
