BREAKING: Kalki 2898 AD passed with a U/A certificate; is the LENGTHIEST Prabhas film ever

The month of June is going to end with a bang with the release of Kalki 2898 AD. It has an exciting star cast, comprising Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. Also, it is set in the future and promises to be a visual spectacle. Bollywood Hungama has learned that with the release just a week away, the Censor process of the film has been successfully completed.The Hyderabad office of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed Kalki 2898 AD’s Telugu version with a U/A certificate. The Examining Committee thankfully hasn’t asked for major cuts. It asked the makers to insert a disclaimer in the beginning with a voice-over that the content of the film is fictional. The disclaimer further adds that the makers have taken cinematic liberties and don't intend to hurt any religion. A mention of '2898 AD' was also asked to be added with the original text '6000 years after Mahabharata'. Finally, the word 'Veedi' was muted while referring to Kaal Bhairava.Once these changes were made, the CBFC handed over the certificate to the makers of Kalki 2898 AD today, that is, June 20. The length of the film, as mentioned on the certificate, is 180.56 minutes. In other words, the run time of Kalki 2898 AD is 3 hours 00 minutes and 56 seconds.This makes Kalki 2898 AD the lengthiest Prabhas film ever. His 2023 release Adipurush came close as it had a length of 179 minutes. Salaar (2023), meanwhile, was 175 minutes long. Radhe Shyam (2022) was one of his shortest films, with a run time of just 138 minutes.
